I did wish Desmond had a beak on his hood though. They look cooler.

He's always been an outdated assassin. Time to upgrade Desmond, as captured by your art.
As weapons for a modern assassin I'd say having an MP7A1 for a main weapon,A Remmington MSR w/ a 16" Barrel (It is semi collapseable and can fit in a backpack), The AAC Honeybadger (a super sweet suppressed compact AR-15) at least 2 concealable suppressable pistols (I reccomend HK45 compacts).
As for Gadgets:
Hidden blade has the usual poison darts, Tazer, ect, but also put in a small grapple launcher/ garrote. Pepperball/teargas/kockout pellet launcher, flashbang grenades, smokebombs, concealable rappel harness, High intensity Blue Lazer (powerfull enough to be lethal and cut through metal) and last but not least (my own personal idea) a small gun built into his running shoes for when you're tied up or otherwise can't use your hands.
